Can it really be done? A slow cooker Sunday Roast including meat, vegetables and potatoes in one pot to bubble away for a prolonged period of time (8+ hours). Well, in-fact you’d be very surprised because it is 100% do-able. Unfortunately you won’t be able to experience the crispiness of those gorgeous roast potatoes or firm vegetables but you will save considerably on the amount of washing up required and the preparation time to cook a beautiful meal for your friends and family.
So how do you go about cooking it?
It’s fairly simple and something that you really can’t go that wrong with. Simply bung all of the necessary ingredients and foods in the slow cooker and go from there. Switch it on for a period of 6-8 hours and you’ll be amazed at the results that it gives in return, especially when you come home to a cooked meal.
